We're Going Home!

This week is the week I’m finally going home for break. It feels like I haven’t been home in ages and honestly, I couldn’t have been happier. A lot of family will be home this year for Thanksgiving, which is sweet because every year for Thanksgiving most of my family is never home, so we can never get a big family Thanksgiving. This year will be special because not only will all my family be here for the holidays, but we are also going on a big family trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee to a big cabin in the woods. It’s been years since I’ve been to a cabin and I’m super excited to see all my family and spend the holidays with them. At first, I wasn’t going to go home for the holidays because I thought to myself it wouldn’t be worth it to go home only for 4 days, but I didn’t account the weekend and therefore my I would be gone longer than I expected. My mom also was super upset I didn’t want to come home at first and thought something was wrong with me, but I’m so used to being in Ada that it doesn’t bother me if I decide to stay during holidays. It’s kind of depressing sometimes when I see all my friends able to get in their cars and drive home during the weekends, as for me the drive is almost 10 hours. I’ve been looking forward to the holiday feasting and seeing my family and friends back at home.
