Chapter 9

    LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network on the internet. You can use LinkedIn to find the right job or internship, connect and strengthen professional relationships, and learn the skills you need to succeed in your career. With the college profession that I’m pursuing, LinkedIn is a great platform to get my resume out there and build connections with people across the world. LinkedIn is also a useful platform to build a brand for your own company/business. 

LinkedIn was created in 2002 for people to create platforms to control their professional lives, find suitable people for their company, and to gain information to run businesses. “The philosophy behind LinkedIn has not changed. It is the most popular social networking platform for job seekers and business professionals to connect and engage with individuals and brands all around the world” (Charello). Using LinkedIn for creating and promoting a business will not only help get your name out there but will also help you get a better networking skills to build relationships with multiple people across that world. “A LinkedIn Company Page is the first place that LinkedIn users will visit to learn about and interact with a company. Using a LinkedIn Company Page is a great way to build brand awareness, engage with employees and customers, foster engagement, and attract and interact with a target audience” (Charello). LinkedIn is a more business professional platform to use when promoting, so this gives people whose platform is more professional an advantage because of how business populated the platform is. You can also use the platform to help educate others on the network you’re trying to build or the business you want to construct. It is best to use this business platform during business hours to catch the eye of the business audience. LinkedIn is a top business networking platform tool to help expand your professional business and gain connections to further your content and will help you get the booming business you are anticipating.
