As we all know, Twitter is a popular social media platform that people use daily. Twitter is also a great platform not only use for personal use but also to promote business or content. Unlike Instagram and Facebook, Twitter is quite different from other social media platforms. Twitter only allows you to tweet out 140 characters per post on your page, but Twitter still allows you to post videos and photos every post.

     In today’s blog, I will be giving you helpful tips to help understand Twitter and to use this platform for business. Tip number one, Your Twitter handle must be recognizable, easy-to-remember, and short enough for people to easily tag you. When someone tries to search your name, they will use your handle to find your page. Keep your names consistent across all social media profiles. If you use a name that’s different from your brand or company name, you might confuse followers or make your page hard to find. Tip number two is to optimize your bio to showcase your brand's personality. Keep it accurate and let people know what your brand is truly about. You want to keep it honest and truthful with your intended audience, starting off with keeping your bio about the business your running honest and outgoing to draw that attention you desire for your brand. Tip number three is to tweet out during peak hours. Tweeting during peak hours will help you draw more attention to your page. For example, if posting during 3pm-9pm is the best hours to tweet for interactions, then you should be posting at around those time frames. One last tip is to use hashtags and use the right hashtags. Using hashtags is a huge advantage of promoting a business because people look at hashtags all the time and using the right ones will help with gaining growth for your business.
